Responsibilities:
An Accounting Clerk will perform a variety of bank accounting transactions required to ensure accurate and timely management of bank records.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for all key accounting aspects related to assigned business groups and/or subsidiaries, such as processing withdrawals and deposits, general ledgers, accounts payable, checking accounts, and monthly financial statement for select business groups and/ or subsidiaries
Act as a back up for the department’s accounts payable function
Reconciles back up withholdings and makes timely deposits to the government.
Acts as back up for reconciliation of Federal Reserve statements/accounts
Prepares and file weekly accounting reports, such as the FR 2900
Understanding data warehouse and data base reporting to create and modify reports for the business as needed
File all processed and paid invoices
Monitor and order supplies for the department

Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance, preferred
2-3 years previous accounting experience; prior banking experience preferred
Demonstrated math proficiency
Strong analytic and problem solving
Strong skills in use of Excel to prepare all reports and proficient in designing reports, imports, tables, and charts within Excel
Strong knowledge of all Microsoft Office products including Word and Powerpoint
Effective oral and written communication with outside agencies, co-workers and all levels of management
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Able to work well with co-workers and all levels management
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and resolve issues in a timely fashion
Team player that is highly motivated and goal oriented
Computer literate
