Develop and implement training to improve the overall quality and reduce cost of the fleet. Develop training programs that will benefit the employees through improved understanding of safety and equipment reliability. Work with maintenance locations to perform PM (preventive maintenance) and garage audits. Work with team members to develop equipment specifications and attend pilot review for all equipment types. Investigate equipment concerns and develop and implement processes to solve issues. Coordinate and audit vendor training implemented at maintenance locations. Develop and implement programs to improve the safety rating of all Shop Facilities.
Develop and implement equipment maintenance programs.
Perform PM quality audits.
Perform garage audits to ensure compliance with maintenance programs.
Work with team members to develop equipment specifications and attend pilot reviews.
Provide extensive field support, investigate equipment concerns and develop and implement processes to solve issues.
Coordinate and audit vendor training implemented at maintenance locations.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Working knowledge of maintenance procedures and PM processes.
Working knowledge of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and Department of Transportation requirements.
Presentation skills to relate training to employees.
Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Office computer skills.
Willingness to travel.
Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with doubles/triples endorsement.
Working knowledge of engine manufactures diagnostic computer programs.
