Position Summary:
Under general supervision, handles day-to-day International student admissions and/or records and registration, maintains student records, records and monitors required data into integrated student data base, and manages, expedites, and maintains files, records, and other documents to ensure accurate and complete files throughout the International admission and/or registration process. Provides routine advice, guidance and assistance to departments, staff, and to prospective and current students regarding admission/transfer, or records and registration policies and procedures for the Global Education Office. Resolves routine process problems for international students as they arise to ensure client satisfaction. This is a benefits eligible position. Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified; directly related, completed degrees from accredited institutions may be substituted for up to 2 years.

Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, in English and one other language. Knowledge of UNM Policies and Procedures. Knowledge of International Admissions policies and eligibility requirements. Knowledge of database management, records maintenance, word processing and data entry skills. Experience living, working or traveling outside the US. Willing to work some evenings and weekends as needed.
