Performs technical support for programs and events in the Fawcett Center; coordinates the day-to-day operations involving audiovisual needs for conferences, programs and events; maintains, prepares and sets up equipment for use; meets with guests or meeting planners prior to events when required or directed by manager; maintains good working knowledge of equipment such as digital projectors, laptop and personal computers, audio visual equipment, smart podiums, and other A/V equipment; works under management supervision, but has ability to make judgment calls when necessary to ensure success of event; assists in organizing and maintaining inventories of audiovisual equipment and supplies; manages the meeting room set up and break down of tables, chairs, buffet tables, break tables and carries out policies and procedures as determined by the Fawcett Center.

7th grade education and 100 hours of training in operation of audiovisual equipment (or 1 month of experience) or equivalent.

Desired Qualifications
Experience with set-up and workings of A/V equipment including sound systems, equipment for computer presentations and light systems; ability to troubleshoot problems and coordinate preventative maintenance and repairs and demonstrated success in achieving service goals in a conference center or customer service environment.
