Manages, supervises, and coordinates the development of scenarios, concepts, products and other deliverables that may be specified in support of scenario development and event design for MAGTF and joint/combined exercises. Supports the following functional areas: Aviation, C2, C4, CAST Aviation, CAST Combined Arms, CAST Maneuver, CAST Fires, Ground, Civil Affairs, Force Protection, Infantry Immersion Trainer, Information Operations, Intelligence, Intelligence Collection, Lethal / Non-lethal Fires, Logistics / Engineering, Maneuver, Modeling and Simulation, OPFOR, Personnel Operations, Rear Area Operations, SITFOR. Support following MSTP functions: opposing forces, higher and adjacent headquarters, functional analysis, exercise control, battle management, and master scenario events lists (MSELs) management. Attends conferences and meetings at both the resident site and other locations off-site. Develop and supervise the maintenance of the MSTP scenarios.
Candidates should have at least a Bachelor's degree, master's preferred in a related technical field. Intermediate Level School such as Marine Corps Command and Staff College or completion of equivalent nonresident course. Minimum eight years operational involvement in deployment and employment of ground combat, aviation, supporting arms, and/or combat service support units and related equipment. Minimum three years demonstrated knowledge of military doctrine, tactics, and command relationships at the operational command level as measured by actual operational force employment experience; direct participation in real world operations is desired.
This position may require some travel. This position requires access to classified information. Candidates may be subject to a security investigation and must be able to meet the eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain a minimum of Secret clearance issued by the U.S. Government.
