Responsibilities: Strategy Development
  • Develops and leads social strategy and integration of social media into overall digital experiences fo r key Critical Mass accounts
  • Responsible for the success and satisfaction of individual client relationships
  • Works with Senior Account Director, Planning Director and Social Media Director to identify and recommend opportunities for cross and up-sell; contributes to significantly growing the client relationship in terms of revenue and account profitability
Thought Leadership
  • Works with Social Media Director to grow Critical Mass ’ social media offering through thought leadership, participating in whitepapers/POVs/etc. and working with other agency disciplines to optimize protocol s , process es and talent
  • Has a point of view on industry structure, trends, initiatives and issues
  • Has a point of view on best practices and solutions across platforms
  • Participates in ongoing social education to Critical Mass’ disciplines and account teams
Day-to-Day Management
  • Proactively manages day-to-day client relationship in regards to social media strategy and initiatives, communicates project and profit risks
  • Works closely with on-site client community moderator to guide execution of social tactics
  • Leads social media, content syndication projects and initiatives to conclusion and delivery
  • Communicates and proactively proposes social tactics and insights integration across account, planning, creative, media, SEO, UX and project management leads
  • May serve as a performance manager for a Junior Social Media Strategist or Community Manager/Moderator

Required Skills:
  • 5 years of experience in interactive marketing or online media advertising – preferably with an emphasis on emerging and social media - experience with content distribution, mobile, search, social listening and public relations/corporate communications a plus
  • Has a strong baseline understanding of account, media, planning, creative , SEO and UX integration to be able t o provide quality assurance on deliverables
  • Ability to moderate and lead client immersion and strategy sessions, proven ability to present online media and social measurement
  • Ability to provide a strategic social perspective for new business ideation sessions
  • Team oriented with demonstrated success in working with a remote or decentralized team
  • Bachelor’s degree
