Edison Electric Institute (EEI), one of the nation’s premier trade associations, has an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Cyber and Infrastructure Security Analyst. The Analyst will provide issue support, including identifying cyber and infrastructure issues and threats; set up monitoring processes; coordinate threat assessments with members; and work with industry groups. The Analyst will support EEI Committees, including the CIO Executive Advisory Committee, the Energy Delivery Security Committee, and the Policy Committee for Strategic Issues. Additional duties include preparing briefing points and other materials, for example, drafting comments for federal rulemakings. The job requires a BS in computer science, engineering or a related field, with a graduate degree preferred, plus at least three years of related technical and policy experience. A background in the electricity or electric utility sector or other critical infrastructure area related to cybersecurity is a plus. Outstanding communication, project management and interpersonal skills are essential. A security clearance, or the ability to obtain one, is required.
