Develop platform BIOS, reference code and related documentation for Intel silicon products such as next generation chipsets and processors. Responsible for authoring BIOS specifications, creating chipset reference code and developing / supporting platform BIOS for Intel's CPUs and chipsets. Work closely with Intel silicon design teams and be responsible for all software and BIOS related issues during the planning, development, and validation stages of the program.
You must possess a Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field
- 2 or more years of experience developing with C
- 2 or more years of experience with embedded development, PC architecture and operating systems
Additional qualifications include:
- Experience with assembly language experience is preferred
- Working knowledge of software engineering processes and project life cycles a plus
- Knowledge of Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) a plus
