The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for generating digital revenues for the Meredith Atlanta properties to meet or exceed predetermined goals. The Digital Marketing Manager will create revenues by working collaboratively with Local Sales Managers, by making digital sales presentations with Account Executives and by directly selling to key digital advertising agencies. The DMM will effectively price and package all sales inventory on station websites, our mobile applications and future digital ventures. The Digital Marketing Manager will create sales materials for the Account Managers, which include multi platform packages utilizing all of Meredith's assets including TV, Internet, Mobile,Email, Social Media, Print, digital channel/s and the Better program. Also, the DMM will interpret weekly and monthly audience analytics for the sales team. The DMM will also work in conjunction with the Creative Services Department in deciding on the utilization of the promotion inventory designated for digital programs and projects. The Digital Marketing Manager will work proactively with the digital content creators in the newsroom to fulfill sales/news marketing plans.

The Digital Marketing Manager will also conduct regular training sessions for the sales staff and create effective systems and procedures to execute sales. The DMM will report to the Director of Sales of WGCL-TV.

Essential Job Functions

30% - Create sales materials for the sales team, properly control and price inventory and create effective systems and procedures to execute sales. Work with Creative Services on scheduling of promotion inventory designated for digital programs/projects.
35% - Sell to key ad agencies. Make sales presentations with Account Managers that result in business.
25% - Work with content creators on special pages and sections as well as executing order fulfillment.
10% - Train the Local Sales Managers and Account Executives on digital media sales.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
All must be met to be considered.

Education:
Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent training and/or experience.

Experience:
3 to 5 yrs experience in digital media sales and /or sales management. Prior broadcast experience a real plus.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
This role requires knowledge of digital media executions and extensions. including social, blogging, mobile and community platforms.
