operates the Alpine production facilities and drill sites and various equipment in the field including: wells, oil separation train, gas treating and compression, water injection pumps, miscible injection pumps, and pipeline facilities.
Additional Information:
This position is covered by a DOT and corporate drug-testing program.
The position requires becoming competent in operating all areas of the Alpine plant including Board qualification
Responsibilities may include:
Exercise responsibility for the safe, economic, and environmentally sound operation of assigned areas
Optimize well and facility performance
Participate in facility and drill site expansion projects
Perform minor maintenance and assist maintenance technicians
Qualifications
Basic/Required:
Legally authorized to work in the United States
3+ years North Slope operating experience
Valid driver’s license
Willing and able to work in arctic temperatures, lift moderate loads, and climb stairs/ladders
Preferred:
Technical degree
Proficient with IP21
A detailed knowledge of all aspects of production operations
Good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
Ability to work in a small team environment with a wide range of personnel from various companies
Ability to demonstrate a history of positive past achievements with increasing responsibilities
Experience with a maintenance management system (SAP)
Ability to comply with all aspects of the ConocoPhillips Alaska respiratory protection policy
Demonstrated support of emergency services teams and/or employee guided safety processes
