Provides clerical and technical support for the nursing staff of 6 Main, which is a Medical/ Surgical/Cardiovascular Telemetry Unit that provides acute nursing care as directed by the Director/Clinical Supervisor or a designee. Clerical support includes, but is not limited to maintaining patient records, written and computer transcription, communication skills and ordering and storing of supplies. Technical support includes, but is not limited to, arrhythmia detection and the operation of cardiac monitoring equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Minimum: High School graduate or equivalent
Preferred: Basic Arrhythmia course
Experience: Minimum: Medical terminology and clerical experience.
Preferred: Unit secretary experience.
