Nurse Supervisor-Nursing Support

Hours: 0.5 FTE Mon-Thurs 8 hour shifts (night shift) and every 4th weekend 9:00 p.m.-9:30 a.m. (Fridays-Sundays). Candidate will serve as a resource to staff members to maximize outcomes and meet expectations and standards for care. Candidate will coordinate resources between departments and provides support to problem solve concerns, complaints and/or process or system issues. Candidate will participate with staffing and scheduling functions and work with the Kronos Scheduling and Payroll system. Bachelor***s degree required, Master***s degree preferred. Leadership experience preferred.
This position exists to coordinate the delivery of high quality, safe, efficient, and effective care to hospitalized patients and their families. Incumbent in this position serves as a resource to staff members to maximize outcomes and meet the expectations and standards for care. Incumbent role models professional practice and assist others in interpretation and implementation of standards, policies and procedures. Incumbent coordinates resources between departments and provides support to problem solve concerns, complaints and/or process or system issues.
Registered Nurse license from the State of Minnesota
BS or BA degree in nursing
Interest in working with children, adolescents with disabilities and their families.
Three years experience as a charge nurse or in other leadership roles.
Demonstrates skills in interpersonal communication, problem identification and analysis.
Training and experience in effective management of employess and developing and maintaining relationships.
Training and experience in time management, problem solving, and conflict resolution.
Physically able to work hours required.
Advanced certification, Masters degree.
Experience as a house supervisor.
