MINIMUM TANGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree Requirements: Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering, Math or Science from an accredited college or university.
Relevant Experience : This position requires a minimum eight (8) years engineering experience and a minimum of four (4) years of recent professional experience in Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case/program management.
Knowledge and experience with aircraft systems is required. Must be knowledgeable of aircraft avionics, software, communications, navigation, identification, radar, and weapons systems. Knowledge and understanding of policies governing Security Assistance established in the Arms Export Control Act (AECA), the Foreign Assistance Act (FAA) and the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM, DOD 5105.38-M) is desired. Defense Acquisition University (DAWIA) training, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office software products, databases and the modules within Navy ERP/SAP is a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Duties include (but are not limited to):
We are currently seeking applications for a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Senior Program Analyst/Engineer. The FMS Senior Program Analyst/Engineer provides engineering support for FMS acquisition, logistics, and program management throughout the life of FMS Cases from implementation to closure. Specific responsibilities include:
1. Perform analysis, gather data and provide programmatic recommendations related to major weapons systems,
2. Provide logistical and technical support in development of program objectives, acquisition strategy, collective training programs, use of military training devices and force structure,
3. Coordinating across multiple engineering disciplines and multiple Government organizations,
4. Must be able to take the lead and anticipate program level needs/requirements and take initiative to resolve independently and/or elevate critical issues to leadership,
5. Provide training support, logistics support, technical assistance, system engineering, and configuration interface support, and
6. Prepare agenda/minutes and monitor actions.
