This position is responsible for the sale of our core hotel brands domestically. Selling of these franchises requires a salesperson to create and execute a business plan for their respective sales territory. Prospecting this territory, which includes, but is not limited to, cold-calling, sending mailers and attending various industry functions. This individual is also responsible for properly disclosing, negotiating deal points and collection of required documents, application/initial fees, and signed franchise agreements. This position is also responsible for creating, maintaining and strengthening relationships with potential, as well as, existing franchisees.
Candidate needs to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Needs to be self motivated and perform well in the pressure filled closing environment. Sales and industry knowledge are a must.
3-5 years professional experience
Prior sales experience strongly preferred
Excellent organizational, verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Self starter with a professional, friendly demeanor
Ability to handle multiple projects at once
Ability to travel 75% +
PC skills (MS Word, Excel)
