Pending a contract win, we anticipate an opening for an entry-level professional to fill the position of Chemical Engineer I in the Chemical Science and Technology Laboratory within our Physical Sciences Division. The Chemical Science and Technology Laboratory focuses on contract research in fuels, biofuels, chemicals, and polymers. We make important contributions to chemical process research. Our focus is on catalyst and separations research and development and applied research for product development with clients. The position will require hands-on building of process units, modeling of unit operations, and economic analysis of processes.
Requires: B.S. Chemical Engineering, with 0-2 years of experience. New Grads (BS level) encouraged to apply. Requires U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance. Experience with process modeling, standard process unit operations, and economic analysis is desirable.
