We are seeking an IT Specialist for the IBM Center. This person would provide ongoing support including the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of Server/PC hardware, operating systems, and software applications. Deploy operating systems, updates, patches, and configuration changes. Update and maintain disk images. Troubleshoot and resolve all identified machine errors. Provide timely and accurate status of all open issues. Stock, coordinate and maintain inventory assets. Create and apply machine and box labels. Record and update Oracle database. Recommend and draft policies and procedures as necessary.
It is also expected that new hires live within a reasonable commuting distance (generally 50 mi or less) of the following cities: Denver, CO. Exceptions may be considered.
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 1 year experience in PCs (hands-on, technical).
- At least 1 year experience in troubleshooting problems with hardware and software.
- U.S. citizenship required
- English: Basic knowledge
- Bachelor's Degree
- Security clearance of Secret - Active
- English : Intermediate
