As an Interior Designer for Creative Touch Interiors, you will provide comprehensive design-center services and work one-on-one with customers to define their personalized style and guide them through the selection process for multiple interior finish options, including flooring, cabinets, countertops and window coverings.

In the Residential market, most of the top 25 homebuilders in the U.S. rely on CTI for exceptional interior finish products, quality fabrication and installation services. Inform and assist customers with decisions on a variety of product and design selections. Assess customer needs and preferences to identify products that will meet customer expectations.
2 – 5 years sales and design experience, working with new home buyers.
Preferred product knowledge to include flooring, countertops, window coverings and builder options, such as lighting, cabinets, plumbing, paint, appliances, etc.
Critical to success in this role, a candidate must be computer savvy, have strong attention to detail, impeccable customer service, and a strong sales background.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Assess customer needs, preferences, and expectations regarding specific products.
Advise customer on interior design factors, such as space planning, layout, and color coordination.
Ensure that customer is informed of options available for product upgrades.
Provide complete product information detailing performance, durability, and maintenance of different types and grades of products.
Estimate material requirements and costs.
Accurately record product selections using established department procedures and practices.
Resolve customer problems and issues.
May perform other duties as assigned.
Nature and Scope
Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information, inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.
Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual complex problems or issues. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by supervisor and/or direct "customers" of the process.
May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support personnel or professional personnel.
Most of the time is spent sitting or standing in the same location or there may be a need to stoop regularly or move/lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds).
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Must be eighteen years of age

Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable
Education and Experience
Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline. Generally 2-5 years of experience in related field; certification is required in some areas OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in related field. Certification is required in some areas.
