The ACI Electronic Health Record Manager is responsible to review all requests for change of any Pharmacy Standard tables such as formulary, frequencies, dose units etc to ensure that these tables are current, accurate, safe, and compatible with CPOE and eMAR needs and requirements. It will be the responsibility of this individual to convey the understanding and integration of healthcare information technology to ensure the effective provision and to support the business objectives of all stakeholder clinicians in healthcare organizations. This position provides input within the organization guiding the selection, development, and implementation of information technologies and optimization of clinical software applications throughout the organization pertaining to pharmacy workflow. The clinical content is developed and maintained in accordance with state, federal, accrediting body statues, regulatory agencies, industry standards, and corporate policies and procedures. This position will help implement the clinical content to support the determined clinician's workflow which includes pharmacy order entry, other pharmacy workflow process such as packaging, reporting, medication procurement and storage as well as clinical content to support nursing documentation and medication charging. This will include computerized physician order entry (CPOE), physician documentation and any additional processes identified. The ACI EHR Manager will help to plan, implement, advance and maintain adoption of the electronic medical record (EMR), and coordinate with the CPOE, Nursing documentation and other clinical teams throughout all Tenet facilities to measurably improve patient care.
Clinical Degree- Prefer RPH or pharmacy technician with required healthcare field or relevant pharmacy experience a must.
A minimum of five years experience working with healthcare information technology preferred.
Clinical Information Systems experience (Cerner experience required).
Familiarity with Cerner reports and CCL to generate data to facilitate compliance tracking, system optimization and performance improvement efforts.
Ability to relate comfortably with Pharmacist and Nursing and other clinician peers
Effective collaboration skills and strong customer service orientation.
Proven ability to communicate and understand needs of clinicians.
Advanced analytical skills to resolve simple to complex problems.

Progressive and forward thinking with the focus on the patient. The ideal candidate will have the ability to advocate for best practive. Strong organizational skills with experience with information technology projects, work diplomacy and conflict resolution are essential skills that will ensure success within a heavily matrixed healthcare organization. Directing, planning, organizing, and monitoring the outcomes of the project team is an expected an essential function. The candidate's ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization and to internal and external customers is required.
