Job Description:
Learn all Lab Technician duties including but not limited to:
• Change over of inspection equipment including sonics and all eddy current equipment
• Approved tip hardeners, Gatwick stress, wafer welders
• Set-up end of line test stations for undercut cameras, in-line lasers, chrome sensors
• Carburized gear process verifications
• Furnace thermal profiles
• Metallographic preparation and testing of special processes
• Read blueprint and material certifications
• Evaluate defective product and trouble-shoot processes
• Be a support to engineering studies in carrying out metallographic analysis and guided data collection
• Team player in helping to support production in troubleshooting and solving problems
• Communicate with internal customers
