Overview :
Responsible for all the daily financial duties at an Airport;

Responsibilities :
Ensures that all financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and other information required by CHS are accurately compiled and submitted within the specified time limits, identifying variances, and making recommendations for improvements as appropriate; Maintains adequate internal controls to ensure accurate and timely reporting and proper handling of cash and other assets; Prepares weekly and monthly P & L�s; Generate and distribute daily, weekly and monthly internal reports; Effectively respond to questions from diverse groups including managers and clients; Analyzes and interpret financial results in order to assist and advise the General Manager; Ensures all invoices are sent to clients in a timely manner; Ensures all Accounts Receivables are managed in an efficient manner; Ensures all Account Payables are processed in a timely manner; Prepares timely and accurate sales reports, as well as any other external reports or returns as deemed necessary; Maintains effective system and control procedures; Ensures integrity and efficiency of computerized data processing functions; Maintains systems, procedures, controls and staff in cash room; Performs weekly audit of safe counts in all terminals; Analyzes financial statements for areas of profit improvement and recommends action; Ensures data provided to the regional and corporate offices is accurate and timely; Assists in annual budget with input for GM/Regional Controller; Provides monthly/quarterly forecasts by terminal and by unit; Assists in technical, training and maintaining of all accounting systems ; IT, Info-Genesis, FoodCo, Kronos, Phone Systems, Berg, Honeywell etc; Assists with unit operations and other company sponsored programs; (Customer Service Training, Orientation, Hiring, and Special Events); Oversees Union related payroll and human resource functions; Leads and participates in training functions that relate to the accounting and operations departments; Oversees payroll and all related functions.

Qualifications :
Bachelor�s in Accounting/Finance, Business Management; 2-4 years in high volume environment; MS Excel and Windows experience a must; Must possess solid technical retail accounting and management skills; Accounting, financial systems experience; Requires a high level of professionalism; Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Must have a very strong, hands on work ethic; Strong leadership capabilities; Detail orientation; Restaurant and/or Hotel Industry experience preferred; Airport background preferred
