Material Analysis Lab Intern
Job Description: In this position, you will be working in a challenging analytical group that is chartered to support Intel's advanced ULSI technology development activities at the Hillsboro Campus. You will be working closely with analytical engineers in experimental design and providing value added analytical support and technique development for problem solving.
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this internship. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of graduate level school classes, projects, research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experience. Timeframe for this internship will be around Summer 2013
- Must be currently enrolled full-time in a Masters or PhD graduate level degree program
- Must be in one of the following programs of study: Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
- A very strong background in materials science with an emphasis on ultrathin film characterization particularly in areas of composition and strain using XRD and Raman methods (1-3 years), Novel transistor characterization using electron microscopy (Transmission Electron Microscopy and Scanning Electron Microscopy, etc.
- Knowledge in semiconductor processing and associated materials (1-3 years)
-Enrolled in PhD level graduate program
-Prior Intel internship or an Intel scholarship recipient
