The bookkeeper candidate should have a Bachelor or Associate's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience, as well as knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles. Preference will be given to candidates with a very strong working knowledge of QuickBooks.

The candidate must understand accrual and cash basis accounting as well as bank reconciliation. The position will require responsibility of booking several entities transactions on a monthly basis as well as managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.

The bookkeeper will assume responsibility for performing assigned bookkeeping and related clerical support functions as directed by the Controller.

Skills Required

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in accounting or business administration preferred

·

Very familiar with QuickBooks and Excel

·

Has at least one year of bookkeeping experience in general bookkeeping, accounts receivable and payable and the bank reconciliation

·

Excellent verbal communication, comprehension, professionalism, and organization
