The CNS Field Sales Specialist is responsible for the development and management of a designated territory with the goal of maximizing sales while improving patient lives. Patients are central to all our strategies, and the Specialist will be responsible for a physician and patient centric focus. The role is responsible for developing business relationships with targeted neurologists, epileptologists, seizure specialists and other identified healthcare practitioners and members of the health care community. The Specialist may work in a team with a Corporate Representative, Regional Trainer, Managed Care Regional Account Manager and a National Account Manager to increase sales, market share and profitability of USL products.
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Science or related field required along with a minimum of 5+ years pharmaceutical sales experience, with a minimum 2+ of those years selling specialty pharmaceuticals with a strong record of documented sales success. Experience selling and knowledge of CNS products and disorders, especially those associated in treating epilepsy is strongly preferred. Successful brand launch experience required. Development of local external experts a plus. Valid driver's license and safe driving record required. Travel up to 20% air and include overnight travel. Residing in territory required.
