Kansas City is a bi-state community with close to 2 million residents. The city is friendly and its residents enjoy an excellent quality of life. It is unexpectedly cosmopolitan while also having one of the lowest costs of living of all major U.S. cities. There is a robust offering of arts and entertainment, with a number of new venues having just opened within the past few years. The Kansas City area offers excellent opportunities for K-12 education in both public and private schools. Two Kansas City area suburban school districts have been listed among the Best Schools in the Nation. We are also the regional home to several major colleges and universities. EOE/AAP
