UnitedHealthcare is currently seeking a
Prior Authorization Supervisor who will be responsible for, but no limited to the following duties:

Supervision of the Prior Authorization staff, both clinical and non-clinical, to determine the medical appropriateness of elective inpatient and outpatient services following evaluation of medical guidelines and benefit determination
Coordinates, supervises, and is accountable for the daily monitoring of work inventory to ensure timeframes are met.
Other responsibilities include interviewing and hiring new staff, staff schedules, staff evaluations, coaching staff, monitoring and escalation of issues
