This position coordinates and supervises general maintenance of the facility equipment and systems in and around the buildings of the facility including equipment installation, repair and maintenance, new construction and remodels.
Coordinates and assigns tasks to maintenance team to ensure completion of assignments in a timely manner.
Prioritizes workloads to meet deadlines.
Performs corrective maintenance and repairs on defective mechanical equipment to ensure equipment operates in an effective manner. Completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner.
Performs preventative maintenance as assigned to ensure optimum operating efficiency and safety requirements are met.
Performs engineering and installation of advanced control systems.
Performs inspections as necessary to meet all facility, local, state, federal and Joint Commission guidelines.
Performs or assists in minor technical, electrical, carpentry, painting and plumbing repairs as assigned.
Four years experience in general maintenance
Basic knowledge of electrical schematics and mechanical drawings with the ability to trouble-shoot and repair these systems.
Proven leadership skills.
Proven communication skills.
Proven ability to trouble shoot and repair maintenance issues.
Carrying, Climbing, Crawling, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pulling/Pushing, Seeing, Squatting/Kneeling, Standing, Walking
Trade school in either construction, electrical, carpentry or mechanical
