Planned Parenthood of Northern New England provides comprehensive reproductive health care to men, women and teens at 20 health centers throughout Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. PPNNE is offering two part-time Graphic Design Internships in our Marketing and Communications department out of our Burlington, Vermont administrative office. Interns will work directly with the Manager of Marketing and Communications in our Burlington office. We are seeking creative, multi-taskers who can assist our department with various marketing projects, including a three-state rebranding initiative and several office moves. The ideal candidates would be reliable self-starters, with graphic design experience, who can work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines. Interns are be required to commit to an average of 10-15 hours per week. Interns are also required to begin their internship in the fall, with the option to begin in the summer months.

Characteristic Responsibilities:
Creating PPNNE-branded documents and graphics
Researching promotional items, and communicating with producers to meet deadlines for such materials
Assist with outreach, events, and media around the opening of new health centers
Working with printers/print houses on signage, rack cards, and posters
Fulfilling health center requests for materials & swag
Assisting PPNNE staff in becoming brand-compliant
Assistance with social media
Other marketing duties as assigned
Qualifications:
An interest in reproductive health care, women’s issues, and politics
Reliable, self-motivated, personable, and hardworking.
Experience working in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop
Understanding of social media
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Ability to work professionally in an office environment and maintain client confidentiality
Flexibility, initiative, creative thinking, and a willingness to learn required
Must be able to travel to PPNNE’s Burlington office, located at 128 Lakeside Avenue
