Summary The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for maintaining the total store Service Culture and Customer Experience that is representative of Under Armour. The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in the general operation of the store, as well as, total team recruitment and development. The Assistant Store Manager must have a passion for the UA brand, embody the UA culture and believe in the company spirit, be able to lead a team, and have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Drive Sales & Performance Indicators for self and total team while leading the floor.
Exhibit and Model the Customer Experience Fundamentals for store team; ensure store Service Culture is representative of the Under Armour Brand.
Support Associate Manager through On-Boarding process in areas of: Service & Selling Performance, Product Knowledge, Point of Sale (POS) & general Store Standards.
Partner with Store Manager to recruit & interview Management Candidates.
Manage the Sales Associate census and store seasonal hiring needs; recruit & interview based on assessments to ensure store is fully staffed at all times.
Evaluate and manage Sales Associate performance; lead Sales Associate performance management process.
Provide constructive feedback to the Store Manager in the areas of: Sales, Service, People, and Product & Process.
Share relevant Retail & Brand communication to Store Team; lead Team Shift Huddles.
Maintain store Merchandising Standards; new product flow, replenishment, visual merchandising, signage, marketing & event execution.
Maintain daily Store Standards; ensure completion of various Daily Tasks & assigned Store Workload.
Partner with Store Manager in all areas of Inventory Control; oversee Stockroom Organization and Maintenance.
Manage Wage Payroll Budget & Sales Associate scheduling; ensure schedule and floor coverage is within allocated budget while optimizing business results.
Maintain a presence on Leadership Conference Calls and in Store Visits.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (or similar) and 2 years of retail experience or 4 years of retail experience, 2 of which are in a supervisory capacity.
