We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Principal Siebel Developer. He/she will work with a high performing team of people (primarily software developers) who support the unique technology needs of Fidelity's Phone and Branch distribution channels.
Fidelity has 5 WI call centers, 5 PI (retail) call centers and over 130 retail investor center branches across the country and continues to open multiple new branches each year. Our retail call centers and retail branches offer a full range of investor products and services to individual mutual fund and brokerage customers- including personal needs-based investment guidance, wealth management, retirement planning, income strategies and college planning services. The CRM Platform is a critical technology enabler in ensuring a seamless and streamlined representative and customer experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Work with the Sr. CRM Architect and project managers to provide Tier III technical support and maintenance development support for existing Siebel applications.
Work in close collaboration with key business and technology partners
Utilize rapid/agile methodology to quickly conceptualize, define, design, develop, test and deploy application releases
Utilize Expertise with Siebel data models and complete application development lifecycle; solid understanding of Siebel tools, configuration, integration, e-script, and workflows; proficiency in Siebel applications administration, Unix, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL; working knowledge of data mapping and ETL tools.
Design and develop Siebel configuration solutions to meet business and IT needs.
Evaluate and integrate new functionality into the existing Siebel applications.
Perform integration between Siebel CRM and Oracle E-Business Suite.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Prepare estimates and develops project plans.
Demonstrate proficiency in diverse facets of business analysis, including Business Process Mapping, Technical Architecture, and Workflow Analysis.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related field
6-8 years Siebel experience required
Skills and Knowledge
Strong configuration knowledge of Siebel Tools, Workflow, EAI (EIM, Web Services), Siebel eScript, Business Services, Desktop Integration, and Oracle 11g SQL required
Siebel 8.0/8.1 experience required
Informatica understanding and experience is required
OWB (Oracle Warehouse Builder) understanding and experience is desired.
Excellent communications skills and the ability to work independently and take ownership of a task with limited supervision.
Siebel Data Mapping expertise associated with importing data from legacy systems desired. Must be comfortable doing needs / requirements analysis and recommending cost effective and justifiable solutions.
Extensive experience with Siebel applications and verticals, including Server Administration, Sales Automation, Call Center, and Workflow Manager.
Excellent computer skills, with working knowledge of Oracle databases.
