A Speech Pathologist is responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic speech, language, and audiological services to referred inpatients and outpatients of Allen Hospital and the facilities with which Allen has speech pathology service contracts; and for working closely with supervisor, physicians, and other hospital staff to assure provision of quality speech pathology services.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited School of Speech Pathology.

Certificate of Clinical Competence.

Iowa license to practice speech pathology.

In order to maintain the position, associate must participate in an informal orientation of 1-3 months to learn department and hospital polices and procedures and to review principles of speech pathology.
