Billing Representative - Emergency Services - PT/Days - 1347521
Responsible for verifying appropriate ED patient charges. Performs clerical and receptionist duties while maintaining quality customer service and provides secretarial functions in assisting the Director. Responsible for capturing Emergency Department Charges. Functions as secretary to the Emergency Department Director. Provides clerical support for the Emergency Department.
High School Diploma; Healthcare Billing experience required.
A minimum of two (2) years secretarial experience. Ability to use computer, fax, and copier. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows and its applications, primarily Excel and Word. Must have oral and written communication skills. Working knowledge of compiling statistical data. Must be able to prioritize tasks and work independently without direct supervision. Must maintain confidentiality at all times.
