BASIC FUNCTIONS: The main priorities of the position are to:
Administer, maintain and support SAEM technical resources: iMIS database, internal network hardware and software website and related systems.
Support, assist and train SAEM staff in operation of personal computers, office productivity software, iMIS application, network access and printers/copiers.
Manage technology vendor relationships and identify new vendors and solutions to support ongoing SAEM initiatives. This position works closely with the membership, communications and accounting staff. This includes: meeting the day-to-day needs of users, conducting user orientations and trainings, routine and special maintenance, planning and implementing enhancements, and preparing documentation. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for administering and supporting the SAEM iMIS 15 database. Including, but not limited to, identifying and resolving transactional data errors, broken functionality, report problems and general system issues. Works with supervisor to resolve problems that require major system modifications and module reconfiguration.
Supports SAEM†s technology resources including, internal network, software and, hardware.
Manages a †Help Desk† environment to support users with software and hardware issues and requests.
Assists in maintaining the SAEM website as required, or requested.
Creates and maintains functional and accurate database reporting tools (Crystal Reports) for all users in their efforts to meet their reporting objectives.
Consults with supervisor on system upgrades, replacement and issues, and assists in the development of functions to streamline work, providing direction on procedures, and recommending solutions.
Serves as staff liaison to appointed SAEM volunteer leadership committees, task forces, etc.

External Contacts: SAEM members, committee/task force/interest group chairs, vendors, software/hardware manufacturers, supplies and support vendors
