Social Media Strategist - Business Customer
This person will be a member of Intel's Business Marketing Strategy team and responsible for creating global strategies and engagement plans for social networks targeting Intel's key business decision-maker audiences. Key job responsibilities include the development of global strategies for utilizing Intel's social media networks, development of internal communities, and external, 3rd party communities to create deep engagement with our customers. A successful candidate will have a deep understanding of social media and related tools, analytics, and industry best practices. Successful candidate will also have this experience in business-to-business marketing, covering both IT decision makers and line-of-business audiences. This person will also need to work closely with network operators and Intel's geo and centers of excellence to develop ongoing partnerships and understand future roadmap plans, always with an eye to bringing opportunities for industry firsts to Intel.
As a member of a global team, the Social Media Strategist needs to constantly think globally, while creating a framework to allow for and enable local extensions and activation. Understanding of global organizations, global trends, and global media are important to developing effective global strategies to support Intel's geographies and countries.
Close collaboration with matrix teams including campaign strategy, social media center of excellence, business unit teams, PR, geo leads, and other global stakeholders will be an important and daily part of this role, requiring the ability to quickly form relationships and teams with many types of people.
This person will drive innovative social ideas and capabilities, and foster industry thinking. This could include attending industry events, conference participation, writing on behalf of Intel's social media efforts, and creating tools to share best practices with internal teams around the world.
BA/BS degree in with minimum 10 years marketing experience with 5 years experience specifically in social media, digital media, PR and/or communications. Business to business marketing experience essential.
