A postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Physiology at UCLA to study the physiological role and molecular mechanism of calcium signalling in the immune response. Research interests involve understanding the role of calcium signalling in diverse immune cells using genetically modified mice and various animal models of human disease. Experience in basic cell culture, molecular biology, flow cytometry, analyses of autoimmune disease models, and mouse-handling techniques are required. Recent PhD graduates with a strong background of studying immunity and/or bioinformatics will be preferred.
