Data Innovations North America, the world’s largest and most successful clinical and blood laboratory Middleware Company is currently seeking an Implementation Services Analyst to perform all the necessary functions of the Services Implementation cycle. This position is primarily responsible for the overall project management and implementation of the Company’s service offerings. This person will provide technical expertise, advice and support throughout the entire implementation process. The Implementation Services Analyst is expected to work independently, needing little direct supervision. This person is expected to be a resource to other staff members and handle all types of complex services, support issues and inquiries.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Configure and implement Data Innovations’ software solutions to meet the needs of both the Company and the customer
  • Write and successfully execute project plans through their completion for assigned service implementations
  • Provide necessary training of Data Innovations software products to users as part of the implementation process
  • Promote and implement best practice workflows for customers and Business Partners
  • Provide expert level support and guidance from pre-implementation through post-live support to ensure maximum benefit from the company’s software solutions
  • Manage and accurately track time spent on assigned projects and tasks
  • Act as and provide escalation support for the company’s customer support sales and teams
  • Ensure customer concerns are proactively communicated to the Data Innovations management team
  • Document and deliver project status updates to all necessary individuals responsible for the service activity
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal); including ability to communicate highly technical concepts to people of varying level of technical competency
  • Possess ability to drive for results and be self motivated
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities under constant deadline and in potentially stressful environments/situations
  • Ability to deliver and portray the Company’s solutions in a positive and professional manner
  • Work well with people and portray a positive problem solving approach on projects and with team members
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills and ability to resolve problems independently
  • Effective ability to teach and instruct peers
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the principles surrounding project management
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of a majority of the following: computer hardware, computer networking, Microsoft operating systems, VMware, Serial device connectivity, Network Device Services, Instrument Interfacing and Cache Administration
  • Expert level of knowledge related to Business Partner Support and Service
  • Ability to meet travel requirements – up to 80% travel required
  • Ability to follow DI’s policies and procedures

Education and/or Experience
Minimum Associates Degree in Business Management, Computer Science or related field and at least 5 years of related working experience OR at least 10 years related working experience with service implementations, technical services and project management.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
While performing duties of this job, the employee is predominately functioning in a sedentary office position with high frequency of keyboarding, and computer use. This position will also have high travel requirements to customer sites; must be able to tolerate conditions associated with traveling and working in a laboratory setting.

Preferred skills and experience:
In addition to the above requirements, the ideal employee/candidate will have experience with the following:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Certification in Project Management
  • Previous experience with Data Innovations’ products
  • Working knowledge and understanding of Laboratory Information Software

Supervision Level
This person reports directly to the Consulting and Training Services Manager and may provide some leadership/mentoring oversight to other team members
