The Workforce Development Specialist is a trained, caring professional who is able to facilitate groups, model and evaluate skills and support individualized learning. They will focus on the retention and advancement of incumbent front line workers by providing resources, coaching, and educational support that will enhance participants' personal and career development.
Requirements: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field. Human Services/Social Services background preferred. Working knowledge of Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) or other tracking databases preferred. 1-3 years experience. Microsoft Office Suite; Basic computer skills; Critical thinking skills. Demonstrates the ability to follow verbal instructions, as well as the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Position is mostly daytime Monday-Friday, but may require evening and weekend scheduling to meet with program participants.
