The CSS Database Administrator tracks entries for New Site Builds, UMTS, 2nd Carrier, 3rd Carrier, Modifications and Special Projects. Accuracy is vital to ensure all data reported to AT&T is correct.
The CSS Database Administrator position ensures that all Black and Veatch team members are informed and reporting the health of their individual Turf through the AT&T CSS database. He or she must understand the Network requirements of the AT&T database and the internal constraints, policies and procedures that must be followed to ensure compliance with division and corporate standards. He or she must have a working knowledge of the AT&T Milestones and how AT&T reports these. This position demands a high attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The CSS Database Administrator tracks entries for New Site Builds, UMTS, 2nd Carrier, 3rd Carrier, Modifications and Special Projects.
Accuracy is vital to ensure all data reported to client is correct.
Ability to resolve problems and answer questions in a timely manner.
Must be able to work with multiple teams to obtain information from cross functional groups to enter into CSS.
Adheres to, supports and enhances the Divisions Quality Management System.
Attends requested meetings to support the project role out in each turf location.
Maintains a high degree of customer service and integrity when dealing with clients.
May have other duties or special projects as assigned by Management.
May perform complex expediting duties.
Must be able to support continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvements.
Must provide weekly reports as directed by National.
May be required to attend project management meetings to obtain dates from project team members to enter into CSS.
Travel as required.
CSSng is a single, unified database of record for the management of AT&T Mobility’s cell site data and also provides for a standardized workflow-based framework and infrastructure enabling the integration of CASPR and CSSng. CSSng serves as the database of record for: Location information for RBS, cell site, co-location information (AT&T sites), region, market, district, and zone information as well as site structure information, compliance information for both E911 and EH&S, search ring and candidate sites, sector, cable, and antenna resource information and mappings, PSAP-to-sector mappings, zoning information, construction information, EH&S equipment, preliminary leasing agreement/contract until lease is signed, site access information including police, fire and site contact information
Computer Skills Test Results Must Be Provided
4+ years relevant experience preferred. Basic word processing and spreadsheet skills needed. ; High School Diploma or equivalent required
