Job Description:
Performs higher-level administrative duties for the Human Resources Department, maintains records and files, represents Human Resources Department at business functions, and maintains communication with other inter-plant offices and distribution centers. Position requires knowledge of employment law and Company policies and procedures. The position also requires the ability to successfully multi-task and demands a high level of discretion and independent judgment. Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect affect on product safety, legality and/or quality. Job Responsibilities:
Manage payroll and compiling accurate wage data.
Administer the total pre-employment process; recruitment, interviewing, investigatin and screening of all applicants. Conduct orientations.
Maintain personnel records according state, federal and local requirements.
Manage facility achievement awards program.
Prepare and maintain accident reports in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
Prepare and submit group insurance, medical and disability claims and maintain compliance.
Serve as liaison between company and health insurance administrator.
Desired Experience:
Minimum of two years HR Generalist experience.
Desired Education:
Bachelor's degree in business or HR or equivalent years of experience.
