We are looking for a senior marketing professional that has broad experience in developing and managing advertising campaigns for consumer and technical brands. This position will be responsible for helping develop the Surface advertising campaign extending across television, digital, print, outdoor, social media, and retail. The role requires collaboration with core teams and partners to bring the campaigns to life around the globe.
Candidate must have extensive experience driving consumer advertising campaigns for Fortune 100 brands and be able to manage advertising/marketing agencies with a heavy emphasis of broadcast.
The successful candidate also must demonstrate the ability to work under tight deadlines, show thoughtfulness in campaign development, and resourcefulness in gathering requirements, input, and feedback. It is crucial to have the ability to know how to get things done and manage the complex matrix of stakeholders.
Specific Responsibilities include:
•Campaign execution management - in partnership with internal stakeholders and external partners and agencies
•Campaign strategy development - in partnership with the Surface product group and our partners around the world
•Media plan development - in partnership with CMG media and our media agency partners
•Analysis, reporting and optimization on campaign measurement
•Annual advertising plan development
•Coordination with internal and external stakeholders
•Budget planning and management

Qualifications and Competencies:
•Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills while working with all levels within the company
•A strong drive for results, with a proven track record, often delivering under tight deadlines
•The ability to creatively resolve issues, understanding business constraints of resources, budgets, and timelines, while remaining adaptable and flexible
•Experience in strategy development, while bringing objectivity, “common sense” judgment, and “street smarts” with good creative instincts
•Organizational agility and strong stakeholder management and cross-group collaboration skills will be critical to success, with demonstrated ability to execute through an influence model
•Exceptional project management and attention to detail
•Excellent problem solving skills, strong process and coordination skills, and must demonstrate initiative and a strong willingness to roll-up their sleeves to make things happen
•A passion for marketing, creativity, brand building and growing media landscape
•10+ years advertising and campaign development experience, with extensive experience working with or for an agency, with a demonstrative portfolio of work
•Rich TV advertising expertise and creative sensibilities
•Experience in print and outdoor production
•Expertise in managing multiple agencies
•Analytical skills to understand what is going on in the market and ability to turn these insights into action
•Agility enough to negotiate with multiple stakeholders, be able to defend work, and also know when to accept direction
•Ability to add strategic insight to projects you’re involved in
•Understanding of the competitive and macro-economic landscape of the industry
•Ability to get work done in a complex global organization and collaborate well with others
•Willingness to scale up or down with a great attention to detail
•Experience and excellence in managing multi-million dollar marketing budgets
