The Project Manager/Change Management lead is repsonsible for the planning activities and leading day to day management of business process project activities using Mercury's Project Methodology.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Accountable for coordinating all project tasks and deliverables such as Overall Project Plan, Budget tracking and forecasting, resource time tracking, scope change mgmt, risk/issue mgmt, decision tracking, implementation schedule
Lead day to day management of project activities using Mercury's Project Methodology
Determines which project management tasks and deliverables best fit the project in order to ensure a successful implementation
Establish detail prject schedule
Ensure timely progress and management of the project plan
Timely communication and status updates as per plan
Advises on process changes, GAP resolution and conceptualizing new methods
Ensuring deliverables are produced on a timely basis and meet quality standards
Coordinate touch points between functional teams together with other Project Managers and Technical Managers
Acts as a catalyst to resolve project problems and conflicts, escalating when necessary
Assesses strengths and weaknesses at project checkpoints

Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements
Exceptional communication skills-both written and verbal
Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
Problem solving skills necessary to analyze complex issues and determine workable solutions
Ability to consider potential courses of action and make independent decisions
Willingness and ability to coach and train a workforce with various degrees of technical capabilities
Technical proficiency in a variety of PC, basic Web authoring functions and Client-Server based applications
General technical knowledge of the software that is supporting the process
Desire for continuous improvement
Aptitude for new systems and processes
Committed to on time, on quality, on budget project implementations
A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
Excellent active listening skills
Strong analytic and decision making abilities
Must be a team player and able to work with and through others
Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
Seeking experience in the following process areas; Order to Cash, Supply Chain and Procurement
Education and Experience Requirements
BA/BS in Business is preferred - or equivalent experience
Experience in a key role or part of the implementation team preferred
Lean Six Sigma skills preferred
