Utilimap is hiring utility pole inspectors for the Kansas City area. This is a full time permanent position. Candidates must be willing to relocate and travel throughout the area on a weekly basis.
Knowledge of the Kansas City area
Basic knowledge of the power system
Intermediate computer skills
Ability to work safely at all times
Ability to walk long distances in one day (up to 5 miles)
Ability to learn quickly
Ability to carry several pieces of equipment including a 35 lb. drill, tool belt and any other necessary tools
Ability to achieve high performance standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to travel throughout the week
Commitment to high quality and production standards
Must have Valid Drivers License
Must have clean driving record
Must pass drug tests
Must pass background check
Must have prior outdoor work experience
This job is physically demanding but also can be financially rewarding for hard workers who are familiar to elements.
Inspectors earn $12/hr then $13/hr plus the opportunity for OT and production bonuses. Utilimap also offers full benefits and 401k matching after standard eligibility requirements are met.
Individuals with electric or communications experience are strongly preferred, but not required.
This is a full time permanent position.
