Position Summary

The Sales Representative Medicare Advantage (MA) will generate many of their own leads and will manage their travel and territory efficiently to produce maximum results. The Sales Representative MA will travel throughout their assigned territory and will be responsible for working with community-based organizations, providers, etc. to represent McLaren Health Plan and Medicare Advantage. The Sales Representative will be responsible for meeting with eligible participants with the goal to present product information and enroll participants. Responsible for day-to-day activities of sales lead generation and community contact, departmental reporting for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with agents and community partners.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in marketing, business or equivalent combination of education and specific field experience
  • 3 years previous external sales and territory management experience
  • Experience selling Medicare Advantage or Dual -Eligible products highly required
  • Possess a license of "Resident Agent for Life and Health" and any other designations applicable to the sales of Medicare Advantage products
  • Reliable, insured transportation and a valid drivers license in Michigan
  • Available to work a flexible schedule to meet organizational needs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong and successful background in selling Medicaid products
  • Excellent verbal and written command of Spanish language
