Avita Community Partners is excited to announce a Mental Health Counselor opportunity in our Cumming Behavioral Health Center. Position is located in the beautiful Cumming, GA (one hour north of Atlanta, GA)
* Provides mental health services to adults and/or children and adolescents in an outpatient setting. Includes individual counseling, diagnostic assessments, group therapy, family counseling and some contact within the community.
* Will work in the community/county in locations such as homes, public schools, and courts.
Fully Licensed ($37,183.00/yr):
Full Licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW
*Working knowledge of addiction treatment
*Preference will be given to those with substance abuse experience or a CAC/NCAC credentialing and Child and Adolescent counseling experience.
Employees are eligible to apply for loan repayment assistance through the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program.
*Pre-employment Drug Screen required.
*Motor Vehicle Report required on all employees who transport clients. Must have valid Georgia drivers license and no driver may have more than 6 points against his/her license within the last five years.
. *TB Skin test is required on all employees who work with clients.(Provided by AVITA at no cost to the employee)
