Goodwill Industries of Northern New England is seeking an upbeat individual to provide direct support services for people with various cognitive, physical and emotional disabilities. The ideal candidate will be able to provide the following:
A willingness to commit to training, including CPR/First Aid, Certified Residential Medication Aide, College of Direct Support and other opportunities.
The ability to support individuals in community activities, teach life skills and encourage people to be as independent as possible.
The ability to assist with personal care and hygiene, as needed, and to treat all people with dignity and respect
The ability to maintain effective communication through written, oral and basic computer skills.
The shift available is Sunday 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. The starting wage is $9.69-11.52/hr. depending on experience.
High school diploma/GED
Must know American Sign Language (ASL)
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Reliable transportation and automobile insurance that meets minimum state requirements
Criminal background check to meet agency requirements
