Reports to the Project Executive. Plan, coordinate, direct and supervise personnel, subcontractors, and vendors engaged on projects

ensuring that they complete the work on time, within budget and to the quality specified. Handle multi projects while serving as the

Turner Construction representative on the Owner-Architect-Turner team. Is responsible to protect and promote the interest of Turner in

all matters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

E stablish & maintain Master Progress Schedule.

M aintain Owner, Architect, Subcontractor & Vendor relations.

P repare Budget and Financial Reporting.

M aintain General Contract and Subcontract Documents.

M aintain Quality Assurance and Control.

E stablish & monitor administrative procedures for the project.

O rganize work & train staff organization on projects.

K eep informed on requirements for Insurance, Safety, Labor Relations, Employee Relations, maintain EEO compliances, etc.

A ssure applications for payment and collection are properly disbursed.

K eep management informed on progress of project and budget.

P erform other duties and take on other responsibilities as required.

Extensive experience as a Project Manager for K-12 education new construction projects required. Experience in a Project Manager

role on at least 3 K-12 projects in CA with DSA experience in the last 8 years required.

Experience as a Project Manager for design build projects in the last 8 years required. Ideally experience as a Project Manager with

multiple Design Build education projects strongly preferred, LAUSD design build experience is a plus, hospital design build

experience is also acceptable.*

F our-year c ollege degree with four-years of formal engineering or architectural training and at least 8 years of building construction

experience required. Thorough knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, line and grade (survey), estimating and engineering

principals and techniques, as well as accounting principles. Familiar with various construction methods and materials, their

characteristics, installation procedures and tolerances. Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft office suite of programs.

Knowledge of Prolog Manager and Primavera scheduling desirable. Very strong English oral & written communication skills are a

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to climb permanent and temporary stairs, passenger use of construction personnel hoists, ability to climb ladders and negotiate work areas under construction. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Performing this job requires use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, sit, talk and hear, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on-site at the construction work site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud.
