Performs testing procedures in all phases of the laboratory including a) hematology b) coagulation c) chemistry d) urinalysis e) bacteriology. Maintains accurate quality control records for all sections of responsibility, following standard operating procedures for the same. Performs the duties of a Phlebotomist.
Requirements: BS degree in Medical Technology, registered or eligible with American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP). Previous experience in a hospital laboratory, including experience in all phases of laboratory work preferred.
Weekend per diem - 4 weekend days per month
No blood banking needed. One week of training provided.
