Job Description The Net.America Corporation is seeking a Windows/Linux Systems Administrator.The Systems Administrator is responsible for building, operating, and maintaining all Linux servers in the COCO environment. Server environments include development, testing, and BETA.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining software patches for every Linux/Windows server
  • Building servers from virtual and bare metal machines
  • Configuring and maintaining network services on servers
  • Maintain disk space
  • Writing shell scripts to automate common administration tasks
  • Maintain machines using VMware administration tools

  • Windows Systems Administration (Desktop/Server)
  • Linux (RHEL) systems administration
  • SAN Infrastructure
  • VMWare Infrastructure
  • Scripting/Automation Services
  • Strong background in Networks
Preffered Skills:
  • Understanding/Experience of Oracle middleware (WebLogic) and database (10g, 11g) technologies
  • Understanding/Experience of Rational suite of software development tools (e.g., ClearCase, ClearQuest, RSA)
  • Understanding/Experience of various hardware and software interoperability and the installation and configuration process
  • Understanding of system and network engineering principles and system backup and recovery best practices
  • Working knowledge of Redhat Satellite Server
  • Understanding/Experience of Security and Patch Management
  • Understanding of government security guidelines and standards
  • Understanding of automated audit log collection & analysis tools
