Part-time Personal Support System (PSS) Relief
A residential group home supporting adults with developmental disabilities and medical issues in Lexington is seeking an experienced Personal Support Relief Person.
Responsibilities:
A ssisting individuals in maintaining their appearance; supporting individuals’ cultural and religious preferences; ensuring free access to all areas of the home.
Support individuals in exercising control over their lives, including daily routines within their home and leisure activities
Assist people in being fully integrated in their communities
Requirements
Qualifications:
BA/BS in related field or equivalent of one year related experience with population. Computer literacy Ability to consistently meet all necessary background and credentialing requirements. Must have reliable transportation to and from work. Must have reliable telephone notification system for emergency contact.
Must be proficient in English and possess and convey effective verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates sound judgment and effective, solution focused, problem solving skills.
