Finalize the life insurance policy for the customer by obtaining and
processing the payment and activation paperwork. Answer questions regarding policy dating and
premium amounts due for the customer.
Duties and Responsibilities
Call customers to ensure policy receipt. Review documents required to activate the policy.
Answers questions regarding payment methods and policy dating.
Maintain detailed, compliant and accurate files.
Confirm policy issue at the carrier and communicate mail dates to the customer.
Act as primary contact person to agents and customers for inforce policies.
Build relationships with agents and provide stellar customer service to agents and customers.
Process policy activation documents.
Ensure that policy activates at the carrier on time. Resolve any activation issues with the carrier and customer.
Notify customers of policy activation

Must be self motivated
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two year college or technical school; and two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in a call center is highly desired.
Certificates and Licenses:
Must be eligible for life and disability license at time of hire. Must obtain life and disability license within the first 6 months of hire. Pay rate increases to $14.50 per hour at time of licensing.
High level of knowledge and skill with web-based applications, MS Office Products and other software programs
Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written) with clients, team members and leadership
Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, instructions and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to speak and write effectively with clients, team members and company leadership
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions,proportions and percentages
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
