LolaBee’s is an online farmers market sourcing produce and pastured meats, dairy and eggs from farmers around the Bay Area and delivering to customers.

Who will be the right fit?
We are looking to add to our team of food lovers and go-getters. Specifically, we are scouting for an entrepreneurial sales and marketing expert who has significant experience building a base of loyal customers in the food or health and wellness industries. We need someone who is great with people, a consummate relationship builder, who wants to be part of a team of smart people doing good for our community through food. This person must be driven - internally motivated by a burning desire to succeed, and a resourceful, scrappy problem solver who can produce results with limited resources.
Our future Sales and Marketing Manager will love LolaBee’s as much as we do and believe whole-heartedly in the need to build local food systems. This person will dedicate their daily energies towards growing the market for these local foods, helping farmers growing nutritious and sustainable food make a good living and families eat healthy and support their communities.
What will the Sales and Marketing Expert do?
Our Sales and Marketing expert will evangelize the LolaBee’s brand across the Bay Area in order to acquire new customers and turn them into happy long term local food eaters. This will be done through on the ground, grass roots customer acquisition strategies coupled with web-based tactics.
A few of the sales and marketing techniques that will be used to get the word out, build a brand and attract new customers are as follows:
- Partnership building with community organizations
- Planning and executing promotional and educational events
- Public relations and communications
- Social media
- SEO and content creation
- Select print and online advertising
What are the requirements for the Sales and Marketing role?
- Significant sales experience building a customer base for a new business
- Entrepreneurial drive and spirit – be internally motivated
- A passion for sustainable food!
- Character – be honest, upfront, humble but confident, and open to feedback and learning

Compensation: Compensation will be a combination of salary based on experience, performance based bonuses and equity. We are a small bootstrapped start up consisting of 3 full time team members and 3 part time staff. We have been serving customers for over a year and are now starting to raise funds to invest in the growth of the business. For the first few months until we close this round of funding, we will pay a modest salary plus bonuses for hitting customer acquisition goals. As soon as we close this round, we will increase the salary to a competitive level.
